In the call of the Aragon ERDF Programme 2021-2027 of the Department of Economy, Employment and Industry of the Government of Aragon, our project ValoRes has been awarded to carry out business projects in Aragon that include experimental development and/or industrial research in circular economy.

PRESENTATION AND OBJECTIVES:
The aim of the project is the study and in-depth analysis of its production processes in order to improve the circular economy of its aircraft dismantling activity, achieving an efficient improvement in the recovery indicators of the waste obtained.
The basis of the objective will focus on the modification of the processes established to increase the percentages of Valorisation and Recycling of the waste obtained, significantly reducing the environmental impact of its activities by reducing the quantities of waste destined for disposal (landfill), taking into account all the processes for which it is responsible, as well as taking into account the processes ‘downstream’ of its activity.
With this central objective in mind, the following specific objectives are set out:
O1. In-depth analysis of the recycling processes, and establishment of those sustainability indicators that allow the efficiency of the overall aircraft recycling process to be measured, in a standardised manner, based on each of the main stages of the process. These sustainability indicators will include the evaluation of environmental, economic and resource conservation aspects.
O2. Analysis of each of the stages of the aircraft recycling process through the established indicators and identification of the modifications in the stages of the process that allow for improvement in the Valorisation ratios of the process, taking into account the AIR processes, as well as the processes to be carried out ‘downstream’ of AIR.
